Ads Up, Wot'z Up and Spot On TV brands used by ZenithOptimedia for Nestle Purina's ALPO 2in1

Alpo 2in1, in conjunction with their media agency, ZenithOptimedia, used Red Cherry's interactive TV platforms to create brand awareness, increase sales and highlight a unique competition giving away a holiday valued at R100 000.

Red Cherry produced and added the Ads Up (M-Net/DStv), Wot'z Up ( and Spot On (SABC) 'top & tail' to the existing Alpo 2in1 TV commercial.

The 'top' invited consumers to enter the competition by getting their favourite Alpo 2in1 product. A 'tail' was added to the end of the commercials, encouraging consumers to sms the last four digits of the barcode.

The campaign was supported by generic outdoor billboard advertising and in-store point-of-sale reminding consumers of the competition. The TV campaign ran for one month and a further two months with the point-of-sale.

The TV campaign generated a phenomenal response considering the entry was purchase related. We received more than 4 500 entries and on average 50% more than the average campaign in that month.
