When used correctly, retro-packaging can really celebrate the ‘good old days’ and strengthen the emotional bond with consumers. It’s no surprise then, that Cadbury opted for a vintage retrospective for Dairy Milk wrappers when celebrating their 80th anniversary in South Africa.
Just Design Jhb dug into the Cadbury packaging archives to uncover the iconic purple wrapper designs of yesteryear. The result is eight beautifully recreated vintage wrappers – documenting the evolution of the Dairy Milk brand over the last eight decades.
