Johannesburg Expo Centre (JEC) South Africa's largest purpose-built exhibition, conference, convention and events venue is one of Johannesburg's best-known landmarks. The Johannesburg Expo Centre is owned by the International GL events Group and UK based Montgomery Group.


In addition to positioning itself as exhibition, conference and event organisers' venue of choice, the JEC is committed to strategically aligning itself with carefully selected partners that provide an experience that prioritizes convenience and aptitude.


The venue offers a multitude of in and outdoor event spaces, with more than 50 000 square meters based indoor and 100 000 square meters outdoor. The total 150 000 square meter space is split between more than 25 eventing spaces including Exhibition halls, dedicated Event venues, Conference centres, an outdoor Events Arena and Terraces suited for Festivals.

The Johannesburg Expo Centre is best defined as a world-class African venue, located in the South of Johannesburg, close to iconic tourist area such as Vilakazi Street in Soweto, the location offers easy access from all highways and is a mere 30minutes away from international airports.

The venue is well known for hosting some of the largest exhibitions and music festivals in South Africa such as the Rand Show, Electra Mining, Bauma Conexpo and the ULTRA Music Festival to mention but a few.

Our smaller event spaces are intimate enough to host small meetings, day conferences or special events, all conveniently located with their own dedicated parking areas inside the venue and allowing access to our beautifully kept outdoor spaces.
