Job description

This is your opportunity to join this International powerhouse, the undisputed world leaders in their specialized area of focus in the manufacture, sales and technical after-sales service of their sophisticated state-of-the-art Capital Equipment.

Their range of products is not Consumer driven - it is highly automated Production equipment specific to a targeted industry sector. The entry-level capital cost of machinery marketed is in the region of ZAR 25 million, and upwards.

Important:

Your seven years' plus marketing experience must have been gained in a similar type of Capital Goods environment - experience gained in other industry sectors will not be deemed to be appropriate experience for this role.

Requirements:
  • B Com marketing/business administration degree
  • Minimum five to seven years of relevant experience in the planning, analysing and execution of marketing business plans and strategies
  • Strong proficiency and experience in CRM and CMS systems
  • Being a front-line position, superior communication skills and a good command of the English language is required
  • A confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and build strong relationships across all levels within and outside of the organization
  • A valid passport, and the availability to travel to HO in Europe as required.

Requirements

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop, design and implement cross-platform integrated campaigns including but not limited to email marketing, print advertisements, direct mail, digital and social media and other marketing collateral
  • Responsible for managing the corporate brand image and individual business area communication
  • Responsible for managing advertising activities
  • To coordinate all public relations activities
  • To be responsible for social media activity, content generation
  • Analysis of campaign effectiveness
  • Creating marketing plans and managing marketing budget
  • Organising trade shows and customer events
  • Responsible for development, image, promotional activity and performance of e-commerce portal towards set goals
  • Such other duties that may from time-to-time be allocated
